About the Work
Materials & Mediums
Zinky started painting with the house paint in his shed. From there, he has expanded to using and experimenting with acrylic, oil pastels, charcoal, and tree bark. Most of his paintings are a mixture of house paint and acrylic paint.
To Zinky, everything is art, and everything is a canvas. He often paints on recycled and thrifted canvas, sometimes allowing the textures of their previous lives peek through. He also enjoys painting on non-traditional materials like doors, cabinets, glass and mirrors.
Zinky2Art originals are captured using the giclée process and reproduced on high-quality archival watercolor paper or canvas.
